I've heard about a gay couple from Melbourne who already have a twins baby from surrogate mother in India. It takes from his sperm and the twins born like his father. I see happiness and joy from the gay couples who had already become a parents but the other side, the indian women need his money to raise her child. $40.000 was a huge money. The Point is, not everybody can pay that much only to have a baby and even they do, it wasn't crime because you will raise that baby with care and love.surrogate motherhoodhttp://www.surrogatemotherhoodonline.com/content/becoming-surrogate-mothernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7899696.post-18026585130673018712009-01-08T14:54:00.000-08:002009-01-08T14:54:00.000-08:00"just because science says you CAN do something, d..."just because science says you CAN do something, doesn't always mean you should."

That's right, science says you can detonate a nuclear bomb over a city but that doesn't mean you should.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7899696.post-59599049016171973672009-01-04T02:31:00.000-08:002009-01-04T02:31:00.000-08:00I think the thing that bothers me is that it's jus...I think the thing that bothers me is that it's just one more step away from natural, traditional family, and one step closer to annihilating the relevance of mothers and fathers. Even though there are two people who love and care for this child, even though it's their own child biologically, it's got the feel of cold impersonality.

There was a story a few years ago of a young grandmother who was the surrogate for her own daughter. Somehow, I felt more at ease about that one. It was not for money, but a true selfless act of love.

I don't know, having suffered many years of infertility and childlessness myself, I know the heartache...but just because science says you CAN do something, doesn't always mean you should.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7899696.post-49876602624961399662009-01-03T16:56:00.000-08:002009-01-03T16:56:00.000-08:00The problem with this type of procedure is that it...The problem with this type of procedure is that it take away from the child's rights. Each child has the right to be conceived through an act of love between spouses. It is proof that you were created from love. With surrogacy you are created outside of this context. Much like yet another science experiment.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
