CA brings back gay marriage; expands domestic partners defns.
The gay caucus in CA is reviving its push for gay marriage. Their strategy is to expand domestic partnerships to include unmarried opposite sex couples. This is a blurring of the lines between marriage and non-marriage, which is not, in my view a good thing. This is what the family law radicals have been advocating for years, Stanley Kurtz's articles have shown. In this one, scroll down to the parts about "The Family Law Radicals," and "Beyond Conjugality," to see the extent of the attempts to redefine marriage.
