'Parental rights' - Congress in a race against the U.N.

A parental rights advocate is thrilled that Congress has introduced a bill that would protect the rights of parents.

Michael Farris, president of, is offering thanks to Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina), Congressman Pete Hoekstra (R-Michigan), and Congressman Frank Wolf (R-Virginia) for standing up for parental rights. He says Congressman Hoekstra and more than 70 members of the House introduced House Joint Resolution 42, also known as the Parental Rights Amendment.
